Features

  • It is an inflammation of the bone marrow. Usually arises from a dental infection.
  • Without treatment, acute osteomyelitis may progress into a chronic phase with bone destruction.
  • Poorly,moth-eaten radiolucency, with necrotic bone islands in the lesion that give the mixed appearance.
