Hypercementosis
Characteristics
- Deposition of excessive amounts of cementun around the apical portion of the root.
- The cause is unknown. It can sometimes occur in patients with Paget's disease.
- No clinical signs or symptoms.
- Thickening and blunting of the roots.
- No treatment necessary.
