Focal cemento-osseous dysplasia (3rd stage)
- It is usually a solitary fibro-cemento-osseous lesion.
- Any aras of the jaws, but mainly in posterior mandible.
- Adjacent teeth: not displaced- not resorbed- typically vital. No expansion.
- Early stage: Radiolucent, not corticated.
- Intermediate stage: Radiopacity within the apical radiolucencies.
- Late stage: Densely radiopaque.
