  • A benign slow-growing lesion consisting of well-differentiated neoplastic bone tissue
  • Most osteomas are asymptomatic and are found incidentally during radiographic examination
  • Most osteomas occur in the frontal sinus, followed by ethmoid cells and maxillary sinus
  • Surgical removal takes place only if the lesions are symptomatic
