Radiographic examination is a central part of implant treatment from the planning phase to the long-term evaluation of treatment success.
Extreme resorption of an edentulous mandible.
Implant failure. Implant 13 with peri-implantitis and implant 11 is fractured. Implant 23 appears normal.
Nerve injury resulting in sensory deficits.
Lingual cortical plate perforation.
Peri-cementitis: local gingival infection due to excessive extra cement around the implant crown.
Multiple implants with peri-implantitis in the lower jaw.
