Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor (CEOT - Pindborg tumor) .

  • It is a rare benign odontogenic tumor.
  • It usually affects middle-aged patients.
  • Most common location is the premolar and molar region of the mandible .
  • Radiographically, CEOT appears as a mixed radiolucent-radiopaque lesion, often with a well-defined borders. Within the radiolucency numerous scattered radiopaque foci of varying size and density are observed.
  • Teeth displacement and root resorption are common findings.
