MPR 8 Fracture of maxillary 2nd molar

In the second right molar of the maxilla, a complicated crown and root fracture is identified.

Small periapical osteolytic lesions are observed at the root apices of the fractured tooth. These lesions cause thinning, elevation, and perforation of the osseous floor of the maxillary sinus resulting in communication with it.

Mucosal thickening is observed at the floor of the right maxillary sinus.

MPR 6 Osteoradionecrosis of the mandible

A 68-year-old female with a history of head and neck radiation therapy (2 years prior) presents with a diffuse, mixed osteolytic and osteoplastic lesion of the right mandible, with ill-defined borders. The lesion extends from the right ramus to the midline, causing cortical perforation and destruction, as well as reactive periosteal bone formation. These features are highly suggestive of late-stage Osteoradionecrosis (ORN).

A 13-year-old girl with swelling in the right submandibular region.
