Tori and exostoses


  • Slowly growing bony protuberances. The overlying oral mucosa is intact.
  • Torus palatinus: in the middle line of the ghard palate.
  • Torus mandibularis: on the linguale surface of the lower premolar region and is bilateral in 80% of the cases.

Case of Tori manidubularis

Case of buccal exostoses in the upper and lower jaw. They are benign, broad-based surface masses. Generally buccal exostoses require no treatment.
