- The most common non-odontogenic cyst. It arises from epithelial remnants of the nasopalatine duct or incisive canal.
- Site: Midline, anterior maxilla.
- Unilocular, round or oval, well-defined, well corticated (unless infected).
- Adjacent teeth: displaced, rarely resorbed.
- It may cause palatal expansions
