Globulomaxillary cyst .
- It refers to a type of cyst that was once believed to be a developmental, non-odontogenic cyst occurring between the maxillary lateral incisor and canine. However, the existence of a true globulomaxillary cyst is now considered controversial and is no longer recognized as a distinct entity.
- Radiographically it appears as a unilocular, round, oval or “pear like” shape, well defined and well corticated radiolucency.
- It usually causes root displacement of the adjacent teeth.
