Lateral radicular cyst .

  • It is an inflammatory odontogenic cyst which is found along the lateral aspect of the root of a non-vital tooth.
  • It typically arises from a lateral accessory canal of a tooth with necrotic pulp.
  • Radiographically appears as a small unilocular radiolucency with well defined and usually corticated borders.
