Residual cyst develops after the incomplete removal of a pre-existing cyst. It may occur at any age and usually is asymptomatic. Radiographically is a unilocular radiolucency with well-defined and most often well-corticated borders. Differential Diagnosis Odontogenic keratocyst (circumscribed) Case 1 Residual cyst in left side of maxilla Case 2 Asymptomatic residual cyst in the right side of the mandible Case 3 Asymptomatic residual cyst in the left side of the mandible. The patient was referred for Panoramic and CBCT examinations, before implant placement.
